Yes — Eternal Cultivation is built around its online world. Sects, chat, the PvP arena, global leaderboards and cloud saves all run live on our servers, so the game checks for a connection when it starts.

Idle games progress in real time and reward you even when you are away from the screen. In Eternal Cultivation your character grows around the clock; you check in to make the strategic choices — which technique to refine, which spirit to bind, which titan to hunt with your sect.
